Imessage Not Showing Messages



Here I would like to introduce two methods to solve how to not show name on text messages on iPhone. Solution 1: Turn off Show Previews. The easiest and most direct way to solve how to not show name on text message on iPhone is through Show Previews. Step 1 Go to 'Settings Notifications Messages'. I am happy to further explain. IMessage does require a data connection so even if the messages are between two iPhones, but one of the iPhones is not connected to the Internet at the time the message is sent or received, it would be a text message instead of an iMessage. When that is the case, the messages would show up in your message log.

Try the following steps:


Imessage

Check that you are signed in to iMessage using the same Apple ID across all three devices:

  • On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Messages > Send & Receive - if required, tap on your Apple ID (in blue at the top) to sign out > then sign back in with the correct credentials.


Check that you have selected any email addresses via which you wish be reachable and/or to send from in iMessage on your iPhone:

  • On your iPhone, go to: Settings > Messages > Send & Receive - select and/or add any email addresses as preferred.


Also check that you have added your phone number in iMessage on your iPad and Mac.
