The Jonas Brothers' reunion is 'effectively over'.
The family trio - siblings Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas - reunited in February 2019, almost six years after they split in October 2013, due to a 'deep rift' within the band, but coronavirus hit their plans for a follow-up album to comeback record 'Happiness Begins' and all three now feel they have 'moved on' from their music as so much time has passed.

A source told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: “The Jonas Brothers’ reunion is effectively over for now. They had an album ready to go and were about to announce it last March but then the pandemic happened and everything was postponed.
“Since then they’ve all been working on their own projects and they feel like they’ve moved on from that music.
“There’s been no big falling out this time, but realistically it will be a while before they do music as a trio again.”
The news comes after Nick announced he'll release a new solo single, 'Spaceman', later this week, while Joe was recently cast in upcoming war movie 'Devotion'.
In February last year, the 'Sucker' hitmakers revealed they had been 'working hard' on a new album, but coronavirus then hit before they could announce the record.
Nick said at the time: “We have been back in the studio with Ryan Tedder, working hard on the new record, which is going to be announced in the next couple of weeks — title, tracklist, all that.”
A new album was listed for pre-order on the group's website but it has now been removed, and last year, they shelved plans for a memoir, 'Blood', following a series of delays.
A source said at the time: 'A lot of time went into it but none of them could agree on how it should look or what should and shouldn't be included.
'They had a writer working with them and had poured their hearts out on the pages, but it's been plagued with issues.
'There are people in the team who would like to get the book off the ground at some point.
'But as far as the publishers are concerned, it's not happening any more.'
Jonas Brothers Postpone Memoir Indefinitely!! Looks like Jonas Brothers fans will have to wait a little longer until they can read the band’s forthcoming memoir Blood. The trio is postponing the release of their book to work on it some more, but did not share a new release date just yet.
In a statement posted to their official Twitter, Jonas Brothers wrote, “It’s important to us that our memoir ‘BLOOD’ is perfect and that we share it when the time is right. Because of that, we’re taking some extra time to write our story. We’ll update everyone shortly once we have more info.”
When Jonas Brothers first announced their memoir Blood back in May 2019, they revealed that the book was set to be released on November 12th. But, in February 2020, they announced a rescheduled release of the book for October.
Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas co-wrote Blood with Neil Strauss (co-writer of Mötley Crüe‘s The Dirt & creator/host of the “To Live and Die in LA” podcast). The book takes fans through the band’s very beginnings and rise to pop stardom, their 2013 breakup, as well as their recent reunion, including the release of their Happiness Begins album. In a statement, the band explained of their book:
“We’re three brothers from New Jersey, and we were not supposed to be successful. From record labels dropping us to our dad losing his job over us, this shouldn’t have happened or lasted as long as it did. Yet here we are, more excited than ever, and we’re so grateful and ready to tell the full story of the journey we’ve had as individuals, as artists, and as family.”
It’s important to us that our memoir “BLOOD” is perfect and that we share it when the time is right. Because of that, we’re taking some extra time to write our story. We’ll update everyone shortly once we have more info.
